COREDA – One Year Project Update

In 2023 NextEnergy Foundation fully funded the installation of a 5kWp rooftop solar system on COREDA’s Community Relief Bilingual Nursery and Primary School in Tiko, Fako Division, Cameroon. The installation was completed in June 2023.

NextEnergy Foundation is proud to announce that the solar project marks its first year with significant achievements in sustainable energy and clean water provision:

• Regular functioning of school computer lab
• Extension of hours of learning in school and score increase for 6^th grade students
• School’s monthly electricity bills were reduced up to 96%
• Provision of safe drinkable water to the school and the surrounding community, benefiting over 1,200 people daily.
