VoltaView: One-Year Project Update

NextEnergy Foundation fully funded the assembly, transportation and installation of a Mini-Grid-25 system developed by VoltaView in the Tweyambe Secondary and High School, Tanzania. The installation was completed in March 2023.

NextEnergy Foundation is proud to announce that Twyambe School’s Mini-Grid powerhouse marks its first year with significant achievements in sustainable energy and clean water provision:

• Generation of 8,000 kWh of electricity,
• Reduction of CO2 emissions by 8 tonnes,
• and saving of £4,080 in fuel costs.

The Mini-grid also serves as an educational tool for Physics lessons. Read here for more details about the project.
